Paul’s first long distance travels began in 1969 – what a year of history to begin – on a brand new Harley! His trip out to California with new buddy, Bill, involved an army surplus tent, a sleeping bag that only grew in size, stops at airports to grab heavy weight oil, casual walks across the border to Mexico, and a pair of tennis shoes that weren’t used on feet.
