Dave Mathers “Garaged”

Growing up, Dave was taught that “people that ride motorcycles are evil. They’re low class white trash. They’re troublemakers and they’re just no good. And they’re all going to hell”. Then like Pandora’s Box, Dave came upon a garage across the street and discovered a “row of empty frames with a pile of motors behind them. Back on the back wall there’s transmissions stacked up like cord wood. There’s a pile of rims over here with no wheels and a pile of wheels with no rims. A real long high shelf on the back wall’s lined in gas tanks and below that on another shelf was leather seats. Pretty neat stuff. Some magical force is pulling me in….” This garage changed Dave’s life and at age 8 he knew he was going to hell by finding nirvana.
