JB was told by his dad early on that with $20 and a new pair of shoes, he could work his way across this country. That simplicity and work ethic made sure that JB never wanted for anything but also never had anything growing up, so he learned that if he wanted something, he had to make it happen through repairs. He is proud of his ability to travel light, basically with a toothbrush and a straw hat, but when it came to outfitting his new tour company, he should make sure he looked like he knew what he was doing. So he got himself geared up.
