Marty started racing motorbikes before most of us were riding bicycles. In the early 70s, he was taken under the wing of racing legend John Greenrose who taught him discipline in riding, and thus built his confidence even more. John once told Marty, “If you quit doing all that showboating, you might win a race,” to which Marty replied as a smart aleck 16 year old, “Well I won that race, didn’t I?” Marty has been extremely thankful for a life on two-wheels, and especially towards John Greenrose and the Woodsmen, “Thanks John… for pretty much making my life incredible because without two-wheels and being on a motorcycle, sometimes I feel like I might’ve been lost.
